Bareilly became witness of a horrific murder. According to the Police, A Disc Jockey (DJ) operator was shot dead by a youth for not playing his favorite song of choice. the incident took place at Sidhauli village in Meerganj area.
Going into the details, Arun Valmiki (30) was performing as ‘DJ’ for a birthday party. A youth named Ashu alias Ishu demanded a song for which the DJ showed his disinterest. Angered by the scenario, Ashu shot down DJ on to the floor.
Police said that the incident took place during a birthday party of the grand daughter of celebrated jeweler Hariom Gupta. Arun was taken to community health centre immediately but to no avail, the doctors pronounced him dead already.
Later additional Superintendent of Police Brijesh Srivastava said that the police raided Ishu’s house, but by then Ishu was no where to be found. Additional Superintendent of Police Brijesh Srivastava said that following the incident, police raided Ishu’s house, but he had fled by then. Disc Jockey Arun Valmiki’s body was sent to Postmortem today.
