In Himachal Pradesh, a tragic incident was reported, which killed seven people and left close to ten people seriously injured.
Although the accident occurred at 12:45 A.M., on the 26th of September, the police confirmed the incident on the morning of the 26th of September, Monday. Getting into the details, a Tempo Traveller (UP 14 HT 8272) skidded off the road and rolled down the hill near Jalori Pass in the Banjar subdivision. Most of the injured were admitted to the Regional Hospital in Kullu town, 200 km from the state capital, Shimla. Initially, the injured were taken to Banjar Hospital, where after giving first aid, they were referred to Kullu Hospital for better treatment.
The killed and injured people were said to be tourists from Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana and Rajasthan and were travelling to Himachal Pradesh.
Meanwhile, the State Disaster Management Authority launched a rescue operation in the region and the police registered a case and launched an investigation.
