The Himachal Pradesh Government, on the 25th of May, announced to extend the lockdown in Hamirpur and Solan district till the 30th of June.
While rest of Himachal Pradesh would enjoy relaxations from the lockdown, Hamirpur and Solan districts would continue the lockdown for a month more, till the 30th of June.
The decisiont to extend the lockdown in these districts was taken to control the spread of the Novel Coronavirus.
The district magistrates of Harimpur and Solan issued orders on the 25th of May, regarding the same.
However, the issued notice does not use term lockdown specifically the guidelines for the lockdown would be followed in these districts till the 30th of June.
The officials of the two district said essential services would be remain open during the curfew hours as well.
Hamirpur has reported the highest cases of the Novel Coronavirus with 63 positive cases and Solan reported 21 people positive for the Coronavirus infections till the 25th of May.
Meanwhile, Himachal Pradesh has a total of 209 cases of the Novel Coronavirus with 4 fatalities till the 25th of May.
