Hyderabad, the capital of new state Telangana. Hyderabad is characterized as one of the biggest city in India in many aspects. Mercer’s Quality of Living Report, which was released on Wednesday included Hyderabad in the list of The Best Indian city to live in.
Earlier, Hyderabad was named as the ‘City of Pearls’ and is now getting famous as the ‘Numero Uno City’. According to Mercer, Hyderabad is said to be the city which has the best quality of living standards.
Mercer conducts the quality of living survey annually to help multinational companies and other employers compensate employees fairly when placing them on the international assignments the release added. Hyderabad ranked 138th position globally by the Mercer report. Hyderabad won over many cities in India like Pune, IT Hub Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai and capital New Delhi.
“Indian cities have not made much progress on the quality of living scale, scoring nearly the same as they did last year. However, over time, Hyderabad has emerged as a city of choice due to factors such as improved options for international schools. Additionally, the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport is located 22 km from the city and offers a good range of international flights, which improves its ranking on account of public services,” the Mercer report said.
