India Recorded Another Highest Spike Of COVID-19 Cases, With 96,000 Casss Total Near To 4.5 Million

On the 11th of September, India reported a massive rise in the single day cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.

In the past 24 hours, India reported 96,551 new cases of the COVID-19 infection with 1,209 deaths.  In addition, the recovered cases reported in the last 24 hours stood at 70,880.

Since the past few days, due to aggressive testing, India is reporting a minimum of 70,000 cases and a maximum of 96,000-1,00,000.

Total positive cases: 45,62,414

Active cases: 9,43,480

Cured/discharged/migrated: 35,42,663

Deaths: 76,271

Number of fresh cases in last 24 hours: 96,551

One-day recoveries: 70,880

One-day deaths: 1,209

The everyday rise in COVID-19 cases is alarming for the Central Government, raising concerns that the world’s second most populated nation may soon surpass the total tally of the United States of America (U.S.A.)

The U.S.A., is the worst COVID-19 hit nation, followed by India and Brazil.

While the U.S.A., has 6.5 (6,585,692) million cases, India crossed 4.5 (4,562,414) million cases and Brazil crosses 4.2 (4,239,763) million cases. 

The number cases in India was updated on the official website of the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW.) 

However, despite being the second worst hit Nation and reporting the highest single day spike, the fatality rate in India dropped below 1.70%, while active cases are still less than 21%.

Meanwhile, globally, The global tally of coronavirus cases stands at 28,313,390. While 20,326,137 have recovered, 913,090 have died till date.
