On the 3rd of July, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare confirmed approximately 60% recovery rate from the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
While addressing the media, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said India reported 60.72 % recovery rate from the previous 58%.
Till the 3rd of July, India has 3,80,512 cases of the Novel Coronavirus infection are recovered and discharged.
Meanwhile, only 2,29,626 cases are active of total 6,28,445 positive cases.
Despite the highest spike of 20, 903 cases of the Novel Coronavirus in the last 24 hours, the recovery rate is a relief to people.
Meanwhile, Indian Council of Medical Research, ICMR confirmed to conduct 2,41,576 samples tested for the Novel Coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
Till date, ICMR conducted 92,97,749 tests.
ICMR is continuously increasing its testing facilities for Covid-19 by giving approval to government and private laboratories.
As of now, a total of 1,074 laboratories across India have been given approval including 775 government laboratories and 299 private laboratories are approved to conduct tests.
