The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO,) on the 27th of November, launched the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) C47 rocket into the Earth’s orbit, with 14 satellites.  Out of the 14 satellites, the major satellite is the Indian Cartosat-3 and the remaining 13 are nano satellites of the United States of America (U.S.A.)

Cartosat-3 weighs 1,600 kilograms and has a mission life of five years.

Initially, the launch was scheduled on the 25th of November, but due to unknown reasons, ISRO rescheduled the launch for the 27th of November at 9:28 A.M.
