The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO,) postponed the launch of the Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle, Mark III rocket (GSLV MK III,) named Chandrayaan 2, on the 15th of July, minutes before its liftoff.
According to sources, the launch was stopped immediately due to some technical glitches. An official of ISRO said, “The technical snag was noticed (when) the cryogenic fuel was being loaded. We have to approach the vehicle to assess the problem.” He further said, “First we have to empty the fuel loaded in the rocket, then the rocket will be taken back for further investigation.”
A technical snag was observed in launch vehicle system at 1 hour before the launch. As a measure of abundant precaution, #Chandrayaan2 launch has been called off for today. Revised launch date will be announced later.

The ISRO team figured out the technical snag during the pre flight checks and issued an order to curb the launch.

The new countdown for the launch will be announced soon after the technical snag is resolved.
