The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is all set to launch 14 satellites into the Earth’s orbit on the 27th of November.

India’s Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) XL rocket is going to be launched into the Earth’s orbit with 14 satellites in about 27 minutes.  The PSLV is set to lift around 9:28 A.M., from Sriharikota rocket port in Andhra Pradesh.

Out of the 14 satellites, 13 are nano satellites of the United States of America (U.S.A.,) whereas the major luggage would be the 1,625 kg Cartosat-3 satellite of India.  The 13 nano satellites would be travelling with the PSLV after the U.S., pays an amount to NewSpace India Limited, the new commercial arm of ISRO.

The PSLV rocket will first sling into orbit Cartosat-3, which will have a mission life of five years.

The satellite is an advanced one with the capability of generating high resolution images.  Launching the satellite would help get images for urban planning, rural resource and infrastructure development, coastal land use and others.

After putting the Indian satellite into the orbit, the 13 U.S., satellites would be put into the orbit.  According to ISRO, the last nano satellite would be put into the orbit at 26 minutes and 50 seconds post the lift off of the PSLV rocket.
