Moon Sighted: Eid-ul-Fitr To Be Celebrated Tomorrow In India

After a month of immense devotion and fasting, Muslims in India will celebrate the auspicious Eid-ul-Fitr on Saturday, as moon was sighted today in parts of India.

Syed Ahmed Bukhari, Shahi imam of Jama Masjid officially declared that Eid-ul-Fitr will be observed on Saturday, as the was sighted in Hyderabad, Bihar, Manipur and Tamil Nadu.

Extending their wishes to Indian Muslims, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President of India Pranab Mukherjee and Vice President Hamid Ansari have already shared their greetings.

PM Narendra Modi tweeted “The holy month of Ramzan is coming to an end. People are waiting for Eid. The country and the world will celebrate Eid. I extend hearty greetings on this occasion,”
