NEET 2022 Results Announces, Tanishka From OBC-NCL Tops With AI Rank 1

Rajasthan’s Tanishka is the first candidate from the Other Backward Class (OBC) Non Creamy Layer (NCL) candidate, who topped the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2022 nationally. 

According to the results released on the 7th of September, evening, Tanishka secured the All India Rank (AIR) 1.  Not only this, the topper is also a topper in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main with a 99.50 percentile.  After the NEET-UG results were declared, Tanishka from Rajasthan decided to study medicine because it’s a profession where one can establish oneself by “helping others.” 

Highlighting her school results, Tanishka scored 98.6% in her Class 12 Board exams and 96.4% in Class 10. 

After seeing the results of Tanishka, her parents and teachers felt proud saying this was the best Teachers’ Day gift she could have given them.   In addition, Tanishka extended gratitude to her parents who always supported her.  She said, “They never put any pressure on me, and would always motivate me.” In addition, the NEET 2022 All India topper Tanishka said, she believes in perseverance and used to devote six to seven hours a day to self study.  “As the course progresses in the classroom, you will have to revise the previous studies again and again.  You can make small notes topic-wise,” said Tanishka.

After her excellent performance in the NEET exams, Tanishka is willing to pursue MBBS from Delhi All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and wants to do a specialization in cardio, neuro or oncology.

While the first AIR was given to Tanishka from Rajasthan, Vatsa Ashish Batra from Delhi was on the second position in the list, the third position was taken by Hrishikesh Nagbhushan Gangule and AIR 4 to Rucha Pawashe from Karnataka. 

Notably, in 2022 NEET results, among the top 50 NEET 2022 rank holders, 16 are female candidates.

As many as 4,29,160 males out of 7,63,545 who appeared and 5,63,902 females out of 10,01,015 cleared the NEET UG 2022.   NEET 2022 examination was conducted at 3570 different Centres located in 497 Cities throughout the country including 14 Cities outside India, on the 17th of July.

Candidates can check their results on neet.nta.nic.in and also on ntaresults.nic.in. 

In addition, the NEET UG Counselling first round of registration would begin from the 15th of September.
