New Reports in the Ryan International School Murder Investigation

The post mortem report for the seven year old student from Ryan International School in Gurgaon was released. The report showed no sign of sexual assault or any sign of semen on the boy’s clothes.
The investigation has been going on in full swing as parents fear to send their children to school. The investigation team questioned the driver, Sourav Raghav who worked alongside Ashok Kumar the accused.
The driver revealed that Ashok Kumar’s statement that said he got the knife from the school buses’ kit was false. The driver told the police that a knife was never part of the kit. The driver has also accused the teachers of using Ashok Kumar as a scapegoat to cover up their crime.
The investigation team pointed out at serious security lapses that led to the arrest of two officials from the school who will be presented in court soon.
The boy’s father, Varun Thakur filed an appeal to conduct a CBI probe into his son’s murder and issue safety guidelines in schools.
The Chairman of Ryan International Group Augustine Pinto and Managing Director Grace Pinto have both been granted interim protection from arrest by the Bombay High Court till Wednesday.
The Union Ministers Maneka Gandhi and Prakash Javadekar will be conducting a high level meeting to come up with a plan to develop a proper protocol for educational institutions to ensure safety.
