No ache din for Kapil? Questions Modi

Indian television superstar comedian, Kapil Sharma questioned Prime Minister Narender Modi “Yeh hain aapke ache din?” (Are these the good times?), as he was allegedly asked for a Rs. 5 lakhs bribe by a BMC official.
Kapil shared his unpleasant experience on Twitter and stated he has paid Rs. 15 crores income tax for the past five years and still he is asked to pay Rs. 5 Lakhs as a bribe to build his office.

The twitter force soon reacted to this, given Kapil is India’s most popular entertainer.

The Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis also swiftly gave a response to the comedian and tweeted.

BJP MP Kirit Somaiya from Mumbai Northeast constituency expressed his concern over the matter via twitter.
BMC’s vigilance chief engineer Manohar Pawar stated that serious action will be taken against the culprits who demanded the bribe. He also requested Sharma to name the person who had approached him for a bribe, reports The Times of India.
