Olympic silver medalist P.V. Sindhu moved to the finals at the USD 600,000 Korea Open Super Series after defeating He Bingjiao from China in the semifinals.
Sindhu had a running start in the match with a 4-1 lead in the first game. This pushed He Bingjiao from gaining momentum resulting in Sindu taking an 11-4 lead into the break. Sindhu then completed the first game in 16 minutes with a winning score of 21-10.
P.V. Sindhu refused to let He Bingjiao take a lead over her and dominated the second game as well with a score of 17-21. The Indian athlete finished off the finals with an amazing victory with the score 21-16.
Sindhu will be playing in the finals in Seoul against Nozomi Okuhara from Japan on Sunday.
