Xian, China: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday morning arrived in the ancient Chinese city of Xian, which is the hometown of President Xi Jinping. He visited the Terracota Warriors Museum at Xian and went around the museum.
On Thursday afternoon, Modi will hold talks with President Xi and will visit the Wild Goose Pagoda, the spiritual structure built to highlight famous Chinese Buddhist monk Xuan Zang’s journey to India in 645 AD through the ancient Silk Road. The meeting is expected to focus on trade and economics. Both the countries are expected to sign 20 business deals worth about $10 billion.
