Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Odisha today morning. The day’s schedule included the events of the revival of the Talcher Fertiliser Plant and the inauguration of the Jharsuguda Airport in Odisha. The Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik welcomed Narendra Modi at the Talcher Airport.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the event laid the foundation stone for the revival of the Talcher Fertiliser Plant. The project, worth Rs. 13,000 crores, is expected to help India grow significantly by reducing the import of natural gas and fertilizers. The project will work on the conversion of coal to gas with the production of neem coated urea.
Modi addressed the public rally at Talcher and said, “When BJP govt came to power in the centre, the work on fertiliser plants picked up speed. I ensure you that the construction of Talcher Fertiliser Plant will be completed in 36 months and I’ll again come here to inaugurate it.”
Apart from the Talcher project, Modi will inaugurate the Jharsuguda Airport in Odisha. The Jhadsuguda airport will be the second airport in the state.
Narendra Modi is on a visit to encourage and lead the growth of the nation with other sideline projects like national highway projects and initiating Pendra to Annupuri third railway line.
Later, PM Modi is expected to attend an exhibition on traditional handloom and agriculture in Chhattisgarh.
