Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to address the nation in less than 3 hours.
On the afternoon of the 20th of October, Mr. Narendra Modi took to Twitter and said he would address the nation at 6:00 P.M., today (the 20th of October.)
In the tweet PM Modi read, आज शाम 6 बजे राष्ट्र के नाम संदेश दूंगा। आप जरूर जुड़ें।
Will be sharing a message with my fellow citizens at 6 PM this evening.”
However, Mr. Modi did not specify the reason of sudden address to the nation, it is speculated to be in the view of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
In addition, Prime Minister Narendra Modi may also speak about the COVID-19 situation during the festive season and winters.
With today’s address to the Nation, this would be the 7th address of this kind, since the 24th of March, when he imposed the first nation wide lockdown.
As of now, India crossed 7.5 millions or 75 lakhs (75,97,063) COVID-19 cases.
