On the 17th of September, Prime Minister Narendra Modi turned 70 years old.
On the occasion of Mr. Modi’s birthday, wishes and greetings poured in across several parties and leaders.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) even launched a welfare campaign marking the 70th birthday of Prime Minister Modi.
J.P. Nadda, the National President of the BJP, on the 14th of September, launched a one week campaign named ‘Seva Sapath.’
The one week campaign was launched at Chhaprauli village in Gautam Buddh Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh.
As part of the celebration, the BJP from the 14th of September, engaged themselves in different events including ration distribution amongst the needy, organising blood donation camps, and eye-check up camps.
Several social initiatives are being undertaken by the party leaders and workers across the country.
The campaign marking Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 70 th birthday would continue till the 20th of September.
On the 17th of September, Twitter is flooded with greetings and wishes to PM Modi on his birthday.
Union ministers like Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, Hardeep Singh Puri and others wished Mr. Modi.
Amit Shah through his Twitter said, “PM Modi has devoted each moment of his life towards making India strong, safe and self-reliant. I am lucky to serve the nation under his leadership. I along with all countrymen wish for PM’s healthy and long life,” Amit Shah tweeted in Hindi.”
Rajnath Singh, the Defence Minister of India, said, “Greetings and warm wishes to PM Narendra Modi on his birthday. India has benefited tremendously from his astute leadership, firm conviction and decisive action. He has been working assiduously towards empowering the poor & marginalised. Praying for his good health and long life.”
Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri tweeted, “I join the nation in wishing India’s popular and visionary PM Narendra Modi ji on his 70th birthday. A steadfast leader with immense clarity, he has brought about a transformational change in the lives of Indians through his policies of inclusive & sustainable development.”
Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi, Mamata Banerjee, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, Pawan Kalyan and many others also took to Twitter and extended their wishes.
Rahul Gandhi, the former President of the Indian National Congress (INC) said, “Wishing PM Narendra Modi ji a happy birthday.”
Twitter users also flooded the platform with birthday wishes for PM Narendra Modi.
