Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s donations for Indian people and schemes for Indians exceeded Rs. 103 crores on the 3rd of September.

Since 2015, Mr. Modi made several donations from his savings and proceeds of auctions from the gifts he had received over the years.

According to sources, recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi donated Rs 2.25 lakhs towards the PM CARES fund during the pandemic illness due to the Novel Coronavirus.

PM Modi has a long legacy of contributing to public causes ranging from Girl Child Education to Clean Ganga to welfare of underprivileged and other schemes.

In 2019, PM Modi donated Rs. 21 lakh from his personal savings to the corpus fund for the welfare of sanitation workers of Kumbh Mela.

On receiving the Seoul Peace Prize in South Korea, he had immediately announced that the entire prize money of Rs. 1.3 crore would be for Namami Gange, to help clean the holy River Ganga.

Recently in an auction of his mementos, Mr. Modi received Rs. 3.40 crores and donated to the same clean Ganga cause.

Mr. Narendra Modi started contributing his savings and money received in auctions since he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat.
