After the news of Sushma Swaraj’s demise broke out, Twitter was flooded with condolence messages.
Prominent celebrities, Ministers and politicians took to Twitter and expressed grief over her sudden death. Sushma Swaraj passed away due to a massive cardiac arrest at the age of 67.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “Sushma Ji’s demise is a personal loss. She will be remembered fondly for everything that she’s done for India. My thoughts are with her family, supporters and admirers in this very unfortunate hour. Om Shanti.”

Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, expressed his shock about Ms. Swaraj’s demise and said, “Shocked by the sudden demise of #SushmaSwaraj ji. A national stalwart and a towering personality who was loved across party lines. As an able administrator and an epitome of bravery and kindness, she inspired women of this country.
