After ‘Go Corona Go’ the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Government leader Pragya Thakur is spreading another way to get rid of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.

Sadhvi Pragya Thakur, recently asked people to chant Hanuman Chalisa (a devotional mantra, a hymn in praise of Lord Hanuman) till the 5th of August.

According to Ms. Thakur, reciting the Hanuman Chalisa five times a day until August 5 will “rid the world of the coronavirus pandemic.”

Pragya Thakur, the Member of the Parliament (MP) of Bhopal, said, “Let us all of us together make a spiritual effort to wish people good health and end the coronavirus epidemic. Recite ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ five times a day at your home from the 25th of July to the 5th of August.”

As a matter of fact, the ceremony for the construction of a Ram temple at Ayodhya will take place on the 5th of August, as well.

Ms. Thakur spoke about the Ram temple construction and said, “Conclude this ritual by lighting lamps on August 5 and offering ‘aarti’ to Lord Ram at home.” She further added, “Though the lockdown will be over on August 4, this ritual will end on August 5, when ‘bhoomi pujan’ for Ram temple in Ayodhya will be performed. We will celebrate that day like Diwali.”

In a tweet, Ms. Thakur shared a video of people working regarding the Ram Mandir construction.

She said, “When people… Hindus from across the country recite the ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ in one voice, it will definitely work and we will be free from coronavirus…This is your prayer to Lord Ram.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi would attend the event on the 5th of August.
