Maharashta: A six-month pregnant woman was allegedly gang-raped by thief who smuggled valuable things from several houses at Khedula Pati village in Prabhani district on Tuesday, police said.
This incident came into light when the woman lodged a complaint and police arrested three out of four accused. According to the reports, robers struck Khedula Pati village on Pathri-Selu road early in the morning and allegedly attacked three villagers.
“They then forcibly took the woman to the bushes and allegedly raped her in turns,” he said.
A case under sections of Indian Penal Code has been registered at the Pathri police station, the officer added.
