The Congress President elect Rahul Gandhi is making his way to the South of India. After a long and intense campaign for the Gujarat Assembly Elections, Mr. Gandhi will visit areas affected by Cyclone Ockhi in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
Rahul Gandhi plans to visit Thaikkad, Poonthura, Palayam and Vizhinjam in Kerala. He was also take a trip to Chinnathurai, a small village in Kanyakumari.
The Congress leader Shashi Tharoor tweeted from the Thiruvananthapuram airport waiting to receive the soon to be Congress President. Rahul Gandhi will officially take over his mother’s role on Saturday.
