Shikhar Dhawan hit a century during India vs Afghanistan Test match. The Indian opener hammered a century just before the lunch break on the first day. The test match is being held at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
Ajinkya Rahane who is the stand in captain won the toss and decided to bat first. Dhawan was in perfect form scoring a total of 107 runs out of 96 balls. Dhawan is now the only Indian who managed to score a century in the opening session of a Test match.
India is playing against Afghanistan in a one off Test match in Bengaluru. Unfortunately, Dhawan was sent back to the stands putting India at 248 runs for 1 wicket.
Afghanistan got a bit tensed and pushed their bowler Rashid Khan who has already bowled 14 overs. However, the remaining bowlers have only bowled 9 overs.
