Mr. Jose Manuel Albares Bueno, the Spanish Foreign Minister, is scheduled to visit India on Wednesday, the 15th of June.
The visit of the Spanish Foreign Minister was confirmed by the Union External Affairs Minister Mr. S. Jaishankar. The EAM took to Twitter and said, “Jose Manuel Albares Bueno, Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, Spain, will pay an official visit to India on June 15.”

During the visit, Mr. Jose Manuel Albares Bueno would focus on deepening bilateral cooperation in a range of areas, including trade, defense, climate change, and science and innovation. He would also meet Mr. S. Jaishankar Prasad and Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, to enhance mutual interest and bilateral talks. The leaders of India and Spain are likely to discuss the current Ukraine-Russia invasion issue in the meeting, organized on the 15th of June.
Notably, after the 2107 visit of PM Narendra Modi to Spain, this is the first time leaders of the Spanish Government would meet the Indian Prime Minister.
