SunRisers Hyderabad Captain Kane Williamson said he missed David Warner after the team beat Rajasthan Royals in their first IPL match. SRH had a brilliant start to the 11th IPL after they crushed RR by nine wickets on Monday.
Williamson replaced Warner as the Captain of SRH after the ball tampering case. Warner stepped down from the team after he was barred from playing in the IPL.
The SRH skipper said, “No doubt we missed Davey (Warner). He’s been a fantastic player for a lot of years. Good to see everyone stepping up. Guys were great on field and all did their roles well. It was nice to see people step up well with bat and ball.”
Williamson was in great form and handled the team to victory against the Rajasthan Royals.
