The Telangana Government led by the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) issued an order to form 13 new revenue mandals in the Telugu State of Telangana.
On the 26th of September, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, issued a notice. A primary notification regarding this has already issued earlier. Another fresh notification was issued as per orders of Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao.
Notably, on Monday, Mr. Somesh Kumar, the Chief Secretary of Telangana, issued orders in this regard on Monday. He stated that new mandals have been formed as per Telangana Districts (Formation) Act, 1974, after receiving objections and requests from the public.
All the new mandals will come into existence from the 26th of September, 2022. The new mandals were formed in Jagtial, Sangareddy, Nalgonda, Mahabubabad, Siddipet, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar and Nizamabad. Yendapally and Bhimaram mandals in Jagtial district, Nizampet in Sangareddy district, Gattuppal in Nalgonda district, Seerole and Inugurthy in Mahabubabad, Akbarpet-Bhumpally and Kukunurpally in Siddipet district, Dongli in Kamareddy district, Kowkuntla in Mahabubnagar district, and Aloor, Donkeshwar and Salura in Nizamabad district.
There are 607 mandals in the State and the number now increased to 620 with the induction of 13 new mandals.
