BSE Dips Below 35,000 Points Leading To Heavy Losses

Today, the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE,) dipped below 35,000 by around 546 points in an opening trade. Heavy losses were witnessed in metal, realty, capital goods, banking and oil and gas stocks amid a Global rout in equity markets.

The sectoral indices led by realty, metal, capital goods, healthcare and bankex fell down up to 3.47%. The National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) Nifty was trading down by 173.80 points (1.61%.)

The laggards are Yes Bank, Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) Ltd., State Bank of India (SBI,) Axis Bank, Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj Auto, Tata Steel, Hind Unilver, Larsen and Toubro, M&M, Adani Ports, Kotak Bank and Reliance Industries Limited (LIT.) These companies fell down up to 3.89%.
