Today’s cricket match between India and Sri Lanka marks ‘Cool Captain’ M.S. Dhoni’s 300th one day internationals. He is on a list of only six Indians that have managed to reach this milestone with Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Mohammed Azharuddin, Sourav Ganguly and Yuvraj Singh.
He will also be listed at the 20th overall to play 300 ODIs. Although today is just another match for Dhoni, everyone he has influenced and touched with his life have been celebrating this great achievement.
The present Captain Kohli said during the toss at today’s match, “MS has been a legend of the game. We know the importance of him in our cricketing careers. 90 per cent of us started our careers under him.”
Sachin also acknowledged this important milestone by sharing a picture of the two of them on Twitter.
