The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP,) on the 5th of February, said, Alka Lamba, a Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP,) is looking for reasons to quit the AAP.

Alka Lamba, on the 3rd of February, claimed, Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi and the chief of AAP, unfollowed her on Twitter. She was disappointed with the action of Mr. Kejriwal and since then, she is finding reasons to quit the Party.

Ms. Lamba also asked the Party members to clarify her role in the Party. She also alleged, the Party members asked her for a resignation and removed her from the Party’s WhatsApp groups.

Ms. Lamba took to Twitter and asked the Party members to explain their actions.

Speaking about her removal, Saurabh Bhardwaj, the AAP Spokesperson, gave no indication regarding the same.

Mr. Bhardwaj said, “The Party has no intention to remove her. It is very easy for a party to suspend people. We even took back people after suspension when we found that they have changed.” He further added, “You have to follow certain disciplines and decorum in the Party or for that matter in any organisation.”

When asked about Arvind Kejriwal unfollowing Ms. Lamba on Twitter, Saurabh said, it is the personal choice of Mr. Kejriwal, whom he wants to follow and unfollow.

The AAP will contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, scheduled between April and May 2019, in Delhi, Haryana, Goa and Punjab.
