On the 27th of June, Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) released results for class 10th and 12th.
The results have been declared on the official website of the UPMSP, www.upmsp.edu.in.
Other websites to check 10th and 12th results are: upresults.nic.in and upmspresults.up.nic.in.
In 2020, approximately 5.61 million students appeared for 10th and 12th exams in Uttar Pradesh.
Out of the total, 3.02 million appeared for class 10th exam and 2.58 million for 12th or intermediate exams.
The Uttar Pradesh Boards conducted 10th exams from the 18th of February to the 3rd of March, whereas 12th exams were held from the 18th of February to the 6th of March.
The results were scheduled to be announced early, but due to the Novel Coronavirus outbreak, the evaluation of papers were delayed.
The teachers in Uttar Pradesh started evaluation from the 5th of May.
Due to the COVID-19 situation, the UP Board decided to issue e marksheet to the students.
Below are the steps to check the results on the official site of UP Boards:
Step 1: Visit the official website; upresults.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the respective results’ link of UP Board 10th result or UP Board 12th result.
Step 3: Enter your registration details on the next page.
Step 4: Check your results after submitting the details.
In 2019, the overall pass percentage for high school was 80.07%, and for intermediate exams was 70.06%.
This year’s overall pass percentage is yet to be announced.
Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh took to Twitter and said, “मेरे प्यारे बच्चों,
आज यूपी बोर्ड का परीक्षाफल आना है। वैसे परीक्षा व परीक्षाफल आत्म विश्लेषण का माध्यम मात्र हैं।
अतः प्रत्येक परीक्षाफल को सहजतापूर्वक स्वीकार करना ही श्रेष्ठ है।
प्रभु श्री राम की कृपा से आप सभी को मनोनुकूल परीक्षाफल की प्राप्ति हो।”
