Controversies never seem to stop with the Congress Party. Now the most recent one is senior party leader, Digvijay Singh has come out and accused the Telangana Police Department of encouraging Muslim youth of the State to join ISIS through a ‘bogus’ website.
The allegations were made through his official twitter account yesterday morning around 9:00 A.M.
Telangana Police has set up a bogus ISIS site which is radicalising Muslim Youths and encouraging them to become ISIS Modules.

It was on their information that MP Police arrested accused who were responsible for the bomb blast in train in Shajapur District of MP

It also resulted in Saifullaha encounter in Kanpur the same day.

The issue is whether Telangana Police should be trapping Muslim Youths in becoming ISIS modules by posting inflammatory information?

Is It Ethical ? Is it Moral ? Has KCR authorised Telangana Police to trap Muslim Youths and encourage them to join ISIS ?

If he has then shouldn't he own the responsibility and resign ?

The Telangana Police Department retaliated saying that such allegations are baseless.
Unfounded allegations from a senior responsible leader will lower the morale and image of Police engaged in fighting anti-national forces https://t.co/vzR8dfVldc

Telangana IT Minister K.T. Rama Rao also joined in the protest against Digvijay Singh, expressing his dislike over the ex-CM’s comments.
Most irresponsible & reprehensible thing coming from a former CM. Request you to withdraw these comments unconditionally or provide evidence https://t.co/cg7p7Ym48X

Even the Union Minister M. Venkaih Naidu tweeted about the situation and stood with the Telangana Police Department. He said the Telangana Police “pro-actively share” information on anti terror operations with other states and such “baseless charges demoralise” the forces. The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is considering suing the politician for his allegations.
