Five Nigerian Peddlers,Hyderabad ,Indian Woman Ring Leader Arrested, Nigerian Peddlers,Special Operations Team,Rachakonda police

On Tuesday, Hyderabad police arrested an Indian woman and five Nigerian men, one a student from Nizams College. The arrest was made after the accused were caught allegedly peddling drugs and for human trafficking.

The Rachakonda police found and seized 12 grams of brown sugar, 1.6 kgs of marijuana, 39.8 grams of Amphetamine tablets and 20 grams of cocaine.

The main accused has been identified as the woman, P. Sangeetha a native of Vijayawada. The Special Operations Team (SOT) also seized Rs. 2 lakhs in cash from her.

The rest of the accused have been identified as Okereke Cyril, John Okorie, Joan Paul, Ojukwu Cosmas and Ogunka Henry.

The officials also reported three of the Nigerian’s Indian visa had already expired.

The SOT officials were given a tip off and frisked Sangeetha and her accomplice John Okorie on Sunday at a bus stop near LB Nagar.

The officials immediately took them into custody after finding cocaine and marijuana with the accused.

The duo were continuously questioned and they revealed they were supplying drugs and gave the names and addresses of their accomplices.

The SOT raided Ojoku Cosmas flat and arrested him and the other three members who were present at the flat during the raid.
The accused revealed the drugs were supplied and the money was sent to a bank account made by Sangeetha.

John Paul was identified as a previous offender from Goa who was arrested and imprisoned for three months. The Nigerian admitted to conducting flesh trade in Hyderabad. The officials investigated and found that John Paul was supplying Nigerian women.

They also analyzed the accused’s phone contact details and bank statement and found they were connected to 25 other drug traffickers.
