Hyderabad: Terminally Ill Boy Made Police Commissioner For A Day

A terminally ill 6 year old boy in Hyderabad had his dream of being a Police Commissioner fulfilled by the Rachakonda Police and Make A Wish Foundation. Ishan was diagnosed with blood cancer three months ago.

Once Ishan assumed charge from Commissioner Mahesh M. Bhagwat he stated his priorities. Ishan asked for strict action against lawbreakers and put all thieves and goons behind bars.

The boy from Kunchanpally in Medak District was given a huge ceremonial welcome. Ishan was the led to the Commissioner’s seat by Bhagwat where the boy got to play the role of a police officer for the entire day.

Ishan has been undergoing treatment at the MNJ Cancer Institute. The Make A Wish Foundation found out about Ishan’s dream and decided to make it come true.

The boy was given the appropriate uniform as he saluted at his fellow officers. The grand affair put a big smile on Ishan and his family’s faces.
