The Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao is in Delhi on Friday to get the Center’s approval for the new zonal system in the State. An official statement from the CM’s office reported KCR would monitor the process of obtaining a clearance from the Central Government.
KCR will be in Delhi for a few days to ensure the approval for the system. He may also meet the Prime Minister to give a brief of the new proposed system.
The statement read, “The Chief Minister has also decided that there shall be new zonal system in the state so that the fruits of achieving the statehood reach the local people. That is the reason the Chief Minister has decided to obtain an early clearance and approval for the new Zonal System and to take up the fresh recruitments.”
KCR claims this will give the Telangana youth more opportunities with the formation of 31 new districts. He further stated the implementation of 95% reservations to locals will also help.
The Telangana Government created a new zonal system to allow 95% employment reservation to the locals. This is the system the State Government hopes to get approval from the Center.
The Ministry of Law and the Ministry of Home Affairs are positive about the proposal. PM Modi has also received the file with the new zonal system proposal.
