On Monday,the Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan asked people to boycott certain Telugu news channels. This comes after these channels continuously telecast Sri Reddy’s video where the actress used vulgar words against Kalyan’s mother.
In a series of tweets the Jana Sena Chief questioned, “Why should we read newspapers and why should we watch channels which abuse our mothers?”
The actor turned politician further said, “What kind of ‘Nirbhaya Act’ is needed to protect ourselves from these emotional atyacharis who run these three channels.”
Talking about public abuse with a private apology the politician said, “For six months you abused me, my fans, party cadre and film industry (and) as cherry on the top, you abused my old mother too.. You sick minded degenerates and now you send me feelers to apologize, privately. (sic)”
Pawan Kalyan also announced a committee would be constituted under the women’s wing of Jana Sena. The committee would work towards the protection of women in the Telugu film industry.
