Shiv Sena’s Aditya Thackeray Threatens To Quit The BJP

The Shiv Sena Party is back with another threat for the BJP yet again. The Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray’s son Aditya claimed the Party would quit the power in Maharashtra by next year. He further stated they hope to form their own Government next year. In December 2014, the Shiv Sena Party joined the BJP Government in Maharashtra.

While addressing the party workers in Ahmednagar in Maharashtra, Aditya said, “We will quit the power in one year and come back to power on our strength.” He also explained the final decision would be taken by his father Uddhav Thackeray. Aditya further added, “Once it is done all of you have to work together to bring about a change.”

This is not the first time the Shiv Sena Party is threatening to quit the BJP. Uddhav Thackeray had made the same threat earlier on the basis they were not happy with the BJP’s performance.

Aditya also showed concern and said the BJP failed to help with the issues of education. He explained many issues pertaining to education were in the State and students have brought their concerns to him. “Shiv Sena is committed to solving the issues of students. It has also created an educational application that will guide students and solve their problems,” Aditya said.

These statements will just add fuel to fire to the strained relation between the BJP and Shiv Sena.
