The Huddle by The Hindu is back in 2018 after a successful debut last year. This is the second edition for the thoughts and ideas conclave. The event will be held on the 17th and 18th of February at the ITC Gardenia in Bengaluru.
The conclave aims at bringing brilliant minds from politics, entertainment, academia, business and sports under one roof. The event will have speakers addressing important topic from different fields.
On day 1 Former President of the Maldives Mohamed Nasheed will talk about the challenges of leading from exile. Sachin Tendulkar will be one of the speakers focusing on playing cricket and his love for the sport.
A discussion panel with the CEO of Walmart India, CEO of Ikea India and Managing Director from Daimler India Commercial Vehicles will discuss the challenges and opportunities for MNCs in India. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will speak about the struggles to develop a new State.
Day 2 will have a discussion on balancing growth and inflation with the former governors of RBI D. Subbarao and C. Rangarajan. The entertainment discussion will host Ratna Pathak Shah, Suhasini Maniratnam and Director Amit Masurkar. The celebrities will talk about the mainstreaming of parallel cinema.
