Vijay Rupani And Nitin Patel Officially Sworn In The Gujarat Government

Today, Vijay Rupani took an oath for the second time as the Chief Minister of Gujarat. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won for the 6th time in Gujarat. The BJP President Amit Shah was also present at the venue. Today, a total of 20 Ministers took the oath along with Rupani.

The swearing in ceremony started with Vijay Rupani taking his oath as Gujarat’s CM followed by Nitin Patel’s oath as the Deputy CM.

After Nitin Patel, other members of the Rupani Council took their oaths followed by the 6 Patidar Leaders. R. C. Faldu, Bhupendrasinh Chudasama and Kaushik Patel were sworn in as Ministers in the Gujarat Government followed by Saurabh Patel, Ganpatsinh Vestabhai Vasava and Jayeshbhai Vitthalbhai Radadiya. The swearing in ceremony ended with Dilipkumar Viraji Thakor, Ishwarbhai Ramanbhai Parmar and Pradipsinh Jadeja’s oaths.

The Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley congratulated Vijay Rupani and Nitin Patel after they were officially sworn into the Government. Arun tweeted, “Congratulations to Shri Vijay Rupani Ji and Shri Nitinbhai Patel Ji on being sworn in as CM and Deputy CM of Gujarat respectively. The State and the people of Gujarat will witness new heights in development under the leadership of Shri @vijayrupanibjp and @Nitinbhai_Patel.”

The Gujarat Government can have a maximum of 27 Ministers in the 182 member Assembly. The BJP won 99 seats in the Gujarat Assembly Election Polls held on the 9th and 14th of December.
