Speaking about this the Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli said he is hopeful this is a beginning of many more matches to come. Speaking at the press meet on Wednesday morning he said, “It’s a historic moment for both India and Bangladesh and I hope they come back to play here a lot more. India is a great Country to play test cricket and I’m sure they will enjoy playing here. Tomorrow is going to be a special day.”
The Indian team concluded a test series against England where they emerged the winner and became a clear favorite. But speaking about Bangladesh,Virat said “You can’t discount Bangladesh, they have some quality cricketers. They did exceedingly well against New Zealand scoring 350 runs in a day recently. One session or one hour of good cricket can change the match. We have been able to win games because of our persistence and discipline and we will focus on doing the same,”
The Indian team looked high spirited in the press meet on Wednesday morning. The end score of India in First innings is 356 for 3 wickets and Bangladesh is yet to bat.
