The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the Indian Cricket Squad for the upcoming Australian tour.
On the 26th of October, the Senior National Selection Committee of the BCCI selected the squad for the tournament.
The tournament includes four test matches, three one day international (ODI) matches and Twenty20 internationals.
Some of the players who are included in the Australian tournament squad are Virat Kohli, K.L. Rahul, Navdeep Saini and Mohammed Siraj.
Rohit Sharma and Ishant Sharma were out of the squad due to their medical issues. However, the BCCI medical team would monitor the progress of Ishant and Rohit.
In addition, the BCCI also announced that four additional fast bowlers — Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Kartik Tyagi, Ishan Porel and T. Natarajan.

The dates of the Australian Tournament matches are yet to be announced.
