The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI,) on the 22nd of July, congratulated the India A Team for its performance in the One Day International (ODI) match against the West Indies A Team.
On the 21st of July, the Indian A Team played the 5th ODI match against the West Indies A Team.
The ODI series of India A Team and the West Indies A Team started from the 11th of July, in Antigua, West Indies and will continue till the 6th of August.
Out of the 5 matches, India managed to win 4 ODIs against the West Indies.
The BCCI took to Twitter and posted about India A Team’s 4:1 win.

Shubman Gill, a player of the India A Team, was declared the Man of the ODI matches and won the Player of the Series title.
Shubman Gill dedicated 2 months and practised day and night to win the ODI series against West Indies.
Shubman Gill shared his happiness on Twitter and said he was delighted to receive the award and always felt proud to play for India.
Apart from Shubman Gill, Krunal Pandya and Navdeep Saini were excellent at bowling.
Navdeep Saini is the highest wicket taker in this ODI series and was selected as one of the players to play in the West Indies Tour 2019. Virat Kohli, the Captain of the Indian Cricket Team, will lead the Indian squad selected for the West Indies Tour.
The West Indies Tour will be a one month tournament, starting from the 3rd of August in West Indies.
