The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI,) on the 16th of January, announced its central contracts.
The list included names like Jasprit Bumrah, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya, but the name of M.S. Dhoni, the former Captain of the Indian Cricket Team, was missing.

Rahul, Shikhar Dhawan, Mohammad Shami, Ishant Sharma, Kuldeep Yadav and Rishabh Pant were included in the A category. The pay scale of all the four categories is said to be the same as last year. Category A+ players would get Rs. 7 crores annually, category A players would get Rs. 5 crores, category B players would get Rs. 3 crores and category C players would get Rs. 1 crore.
