The historical record of most runs in one-over was last created by Brian Lara (28 runs), which Jasprit Bumrah has now broken.

With this, Jasprit Bumrah joined the club of previous record holders, Brian Lara took 28 off one Robin Peterson over the back in 2003, while Bailey (2013) and Maharaj (2020) also shared the record.
