Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh, on the 4th of September, pulled out of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020.
Harbhajan Singh is the player of Chennai Super Kings (CSK.) This would be the second blow to the CSK after Suresh Raina also left, citing personal reasons.
Harbhajan Singh said, “I have pulled out of IPL due to personal reasons.”
The reason behind Harbhajan’s quitting is yet to be known.
With this, after the exit of Harbhajan Singh, Chennai Super Kings has three front line spinners, Imran Tahir, Mitchell Santner and Piyush Chawla.
Meanwhile, skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni and all other players, except for the COVID-19 affected Deepak Chahar and Ruturaj Gaikwad, would start their training from the 4th of September.
K.S. Viswanathan, the CEO of CSK, “The training starts from today. All others, apart from the 13, tested negative for the third time. Those who tested positive will only be tested after the isolation period (two weeks) is over.”
All other teams, except CSK, have started training.
The IPL 2020 is scheduled to begin from 19th of September and continue till the 10th of November.
