IPL 2017 RCB vs RPS Match Prediction :The Royal Challengers Banglore have suffered a terrible fate this IPL season. Despite star players and a tremendous batting line, they seem to carry a bane that they can’t seem to shake off. Out of the nine matches played till date in IPL 10, RCB has won two matches.

The last season’s runner-up, this is hardly something anybody can expect from the team. The team has six matches left in this season and needs to win all of them to qualify for the qualifiers. RCB also shocked everyone by making the lowest score in IPLs with an all out by 49 runs. The Indian cricket team and RCB captain Virat Kohli ran out of explanations for such miserable performances from the start of the season.

While RCB seems to have failed in making any impact, Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS) has not exceeded any expectations and inconsistent in their performances. After six day gap, Pune won two matches but again failed to win against the Kolkata Knight riders. The main issue with RPS team being the lack of power bowlers, who can knock out the opposition team. This year, M.S. Dhoni chose to remain sidelined and forego captainship but has failed to reach expectations in matches. Though there were some wonderful moments this season, Dhoni too, failed to impress.

Virat Kohli, about continuous losses, said, “It is never easy to lose games. We need to get better with our performances, got to come out and play with intent. The only way to come out of it is to play positive cricket. We are putting too much pressure on the team. Individuals need to stand up and take responsibility.”

And Steven Smith, speaking about RPS poor bowling form said, “We put down a few catches and it proved costly, we need to work on our fielding. It has happened in a few games in a row and we need to change it. Not sure if it’s an attitude problem. But, hopefully, we can improve on our fielding.”

Well apart from an anticipation of rising, there is not much one can hope from both the teams. With today’s match being a ‘do or die’ match for RCB, it is yet to be seen if the team will revive and make their win against RPS and break the losing streak. Or RPS will change the fate of RPS at the end of the match.
