The 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is all set to begin from the 29th of March in Mumbai.
The IPL 2020 would begin with the first match being played by the Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
An official of the IPL, who wished to remain anonymous, addressed the media and said, “I am told that the 2020 edition of the IPL will start on March 29 at Wankhede.”
The 8 teams in the IPL are:
- Chennai Super Kings
- Delhi Capitals
- Kings XI Punjab
- Kolkata Knight Riders
- Mumbai Indians
- Rajasthan Royals
- Royal Challengers Bangalore
- Sunrisers Hyderabad
The official schedule of the 13th edition of IPL is yet to be announced. However, the opening date would be the 29th of March, 2020.
