K.T. Rama Rao, the Working President of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS,) on the 3rd of July, took to Twitter and appreciated Ambati Rayudu for his contribution to the Indian Cricket Team.
Mr. Rao, after the announcement of Ambati’s retirement from all forms of cricket, said, “Selectors may have snubbed you but Indian cricket lovers will remember your brilliance for a long time. Good luck in your second innings.”
Ambati Rayudu, on the 3rd of July, announced his retirement from all forms of cricket. Although the reason behind his decision was not revealed, it is suspected he took the decision as he was not selected to be a part of the Indian Cricket Team for the International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup.
Even after the injury of two players of the Indian Cricket Team, the BCCI overlooked Ambati and chose Rishabh Pant and Mayank Agarwal.

Fans of Rayudu are also disappointed with the announcement of his retirement. They blamed the BCCI, the Indian Cricket Association and other authorities for his retirement.

Recently, on the 10th of June, Yuvraj Singh, another player of the Indian Cricket Team, also announced his retirement from international cricket.
The ICC World Cup 2019, which is being hosted by England, started on the 30th of May and will continue till the 14th of July.
