After remaining number 1 in the ICC test rankings, the Indian Cricket Team is all set to play T20 International (T20I) matches as a part of the India-West Indies Tour in Hyderabad, Telangana.
Team India is scheduled to play three T20Is and three One Day Internationals (ODIs) against West Indies. The month long West Indies Tour is scheduled to begin from the 6th of December and the first match of the Tour would be played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, Telangana.
Team India recently won the Bangladesh Day-Night series in West Bengal.
Team India players Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have a record each of scoring the most runs in the shortest format. While Rohit Sharma scored 2,539 runs in 93 innings, Virat Kohli scored 2,450 runs in 67 innings.
The Indian squad playing the 3 T20Is includes Virat Kohli (captain,) Rohit Sharma (vice captain,) K.L. Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Manish Pandey, Rishabh Pant (wicket keeper,) Shivam Dube, Washington Sundar, Ravindra Jadeja, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Deepak Chahar, Mohammed Shami, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Sanju Samson.
The West Indies squad playing the 3 T20Is includes Brandon King, Evin Lewis, Lendl Simmons, Sherfane Rutherford, Fabian Allen, Jason Holder, Keemo Paul, Kharu Pierre, Kieron Pollard, Denesh Ramdin, Nicholas Pooran, Hayden Walsh, Kesrick Williams and Sheldon Cotrell.
The first T20I would begin at 7:00 P.M., on the 6th of December.
