Virat Kohli, who is leading the Royal Challengers Bangalore IPL team this season apologized for the dismal performance of the team. The skipper took to twitter to apologize for the disappointing performance in the ongoing season.
The team played 13 matches and won only two of them. On Sunday, RCB lost to Kolkata Knight Riders by 6 wickets. With a star studded line up that included Virat Kohli, Ab de Villers, Chris Gayle and others the team failed to perform well. Even Captain Kohli failed to perform from the start of the season.
Virat’s performance received a mixed review from his fans. Ranging from support to bashing the cricketer on twitter. In a response to the criticism, the skipper took to twitter and posted an open apology to his fans. He wrote, “Thanks to the @RCBTweets fans for all the unconditional love and support this season as well. Sorry, we couldn’t play up to our standards.”
